In The News: The Democrats officially nominate Barack Obama and Joe Biden with a rousing show of unity.
Moqtada al Sadr extends his Mahdi Army ceasefire and it appears he is ‘running the show’ from Iran (I’ve seen mention recently of his pursuing religious studies in Iran as well //dbitm) . Also, al Sistani, his religious mentor has been ill according to reports.
One more US soldier is killed by sniper fire in Iraq bringing the death harvest total to 4148. 497 have been killed in Afghanistan.
In Pakistan, the lawyer protest over the dismissal of judges resurges as the new government fails to re-instate the purged jurists.
In the Black Sea War, the Russians have ‘fast-boats’ in the Black Sea in response to a US military humanitarian convoy and the South Ossetians claim to have shot down a Georgian drone. The Georgians say it wasn’t theirs…
So, where DID the drone come from?
Could it be the….. ISRAELI MILITARY?

“In addition to the spy drones, Israel has also been supplying Georgia with infantry weapons and electronics for artillery systems, and has helped upgrade Soviet-designed Su-25 ground attack jets assembled in Georgia, according to Koba Liklikadze, an independent military expert based in Tbilisi.
