President Bush signs the Omnibus Spending Bill which compiles MOST of the individual budgets required for the US government to operate into a single bill.
The bill to the public for the ‘economic rescue’ inflates as fast as a Senator’s ego… $850 BILLION now, up from $750 BILLION dollars, due to ‘pork’. Greasy details follow. The Senate also approves a nuclear trade bill with India, and throws some money at AMTRAK, hopefully not for forcible relocations of US populations.
